The highly touted Porsche 919 Hybrid — with water-cooled lithium-ion batteries and electric front-wheel drive power boost — will make its first public US appearance on Sunday, June 8 at the Ault Park Concours d'Elegance in Cincinnati, OH. Designed to race in the FIA World Endurance Championship series, the model was first shown to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The race-prepped versions have seen action earlier this year, earning a 3rd place finish at Silverstone in England and 4th place at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, both 6-hour races.
