The Nissan 370Z is the latest car to get engine noise artificially pumped into the passenger compartment. As Patrick George points out, this is stupid . Instead of modifying something that would improve both performance and sound, they took the easy and needlessly complex all at the same time way out, and Nissan's VQ isn't exactly a musical instrument like a Ferrari V12 to begin with. More and more cars are getting this technology these days, despite many enthusiasts hating it.
